MINNEAPOLIS -- A suburban Minneapolis restaurant is turning the tables on Randy Moss.NFL.com news: Thanks to Moss, there is a free lunch in Minnesota
Gus Tinucci was catering lunch at the Minnesota Vikings' practice facility last Friday when Moss entered the locker room. He said Moss demanded to know who ordered the food and said he wouldn't feed it to his dog.
Tinucci said he got an apology from the Wilf family, which owns the Vikings. And on Friday, Tinucci's restaurant will offer free lunches to the first 50 people who come to turn in their Moss jerseys. For everyone else, the lunch buffet will be marked down to $8.40, a takeoff on the receiver's No. 84 jersey.
The Moss jerseys and cash will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The Vikings waived Moss on Tuesday, and he was claimed a day later by the Tennessee Titan, his third team this season.
It's pretty cool I guess. If you're in the Minny area, take advantage of it.
